Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling: The Dallas Owner’s Guide
Caesarstone kitchen remodeling in Dallas typically runs $14,000 to $45,000 installed, depending on countertop square footage, cabinet scope, and whether plumbing or electrical work gets pulled into the job. We stock Caesarstone-compatible materials and schedule most full kitchen remodels within two to four weeks of the written estimate. Most Dallas homeowners call us after a countertop seam has opened up, a sink cutout has chipped, or a cabinet box has started pulling away from the wall behind a Caesarstone run that was never properly supported.
Here is the thing about Caesarstone in a Dallas kitchen: the quartz itself is resilient, but the installation around it usually is not. We see failed seams, cracked overhangs, and delaminating substrate more than we see actual slab failures. And when a Caesarstone surface cracks near a cooktop or a sink, the repair usually means pulling the slab, rebuilding the support, and resetting the stone. That is not a countertop patch job. That is a kitchen remodeling project.
Which Caesarstone Models This Applies To

The short answer: any Caesarstone quartz line with a polished or honed finish, from the Supernatural and Metropolitan collections to the older Classico series that shows up in a lot of Dallas homes built between 2005 and 2015. Caesarstone slabs come in 56.5-inch by 120-inch jumbo formats, and the thickness matters more than the color name. Older Classico slabs were commonly 20mm. Newer installations in Dallas run 30mm for the thicker edge profile, or 20mm with a mitered edge for the waterfall-island look that has been popular in Preston Hollow and Lakewood remodels.
One compatibility gotcha most homeowners never hear about: Caesarstone changed its resin formula across several color lines around 2018, and the older slabs have a slightly different thermal expansion rate. That means if you are matching a new Caesarstone island to an existing perimeter countertop, a color sample from 2012 may read a shade off against a 2025 slab, even with the same pattern name. We bring slab samples to the house before you commit.
On OEM versus aftermarket: for Caesarstone, there is no meaningful aftermarket slab. You either install genuine Caesarstone quartz or you switch brands. What does have aftermarket options is everything around the slab: sink clips, seam adhesive, support brackets, and edge profiles. We use Caesarstone-recommended adhesives and stainless bracket systems rated for quartz overhangs, because a cheap bracket under a 12-inch overhang is exactly how we end up replacing a cracked island top in University Park.
Mason Remodeling Co Dallas is an independent service provider and not affiliated with Caesarstone. We also work with Cambria, Silestone, and KraftMaid cabinetry for kitchens that mix brands across surfaces and cabinets.

Signs Your Caesarstone Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Seam separation at the sink or cooktop. Quartz expands slightly with heat, and Dallas kitchens run hot in July. When the seam adhesive was applied too thin or the slab was not allowed to acclimate before install, the seam opens and water gets under the stone.
- Hairline cracks radiating from a corner cutout. Sink and cooktop cutouts are stress points. If the installer did not radius the inside corners, the slab will eventually crack from the corner outward. We replace full runs, not just the cracked section, because a patch on quartz always reads.
- Countertop overhang bouncing or flexing. Unsupported overhang over 10 inches without a corbel or steel bracket is a structural problem waiting to happen. If you can feel the slab move when you lean on it, the support failed before the stone did.
- Caesarstone pulling away from the backsplash. In Dallas, slab-on-grade homes shift. The countertop stays put while the wall moves, and the gap opens. It looks like a simple caulk failure, but it is usually the house moving, and it will reopen until the slab is reset with the right expansion allowance.
- Dull spots that will not polish out. Quartz does not etch like marble, but harsh cleaners will break down the resin over time and leave a cloudy patch. That is a refinishing conversation, not a replacement one, unless the surface also shows impact chips.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

A full Caesarstone kitchen remodel in Dallas runs $14,000 to $45,000. That range covers the spread between a compact galley kitchen refit and a full open-plan kitchen with a waterfall island, custom cabinets, and backsplash. Countertop installation alone runs $2,000 to $6,500 depending on square footage and slab thickness. Cabinet installation runs $4,000 to $13,000. A kitchen island build runs $3,000 to $10,000. Backsplash runs $800 to $2,500.
What moves the number: how many linear feet of Caesarstone, whether cabinets are refaced or replaced, whether the sink moves, and whether the existing slab has to be demoed and disposed of. Dallas disposal fees and the distance from the slab yard in the Design District both show up in the line items.
You get a written price before work starts, every time. That written quote includes the slab, fabrication, delivery, install labor, sink cutout, fixtures, and cleanup. No verbal ballpark that grows at the final invoice. And the work is covered for 365 days from completion under our Done Right Promise. If something fails in that window, we return at no charge.
Isaac Pruett walked his first Caesarstone install in Dallas over a decade ago, and he still walks every job before demo day. He will tell you the same thing he tells every homeowner: a plan on paper and a house in front of you are two different things. You should know who is coming, what it costs, and what happens if something goes wrong, before we ever pick up a tool.
DIY or Call Us?
Quartz is not a DIY repair surface. Cement and epoxy patches will not blend with the resin matrix, and grinding a seam without a water-fed polisher will burn the surface and leave a sheen mismatch you will see from across the kitchen. Replacing a Caesarstone slab means handling 400 to 600 pounds of stone, and a dropped slab will take out cabinets, flooring, and possibly a foot. That is not a weekend project.
What you can safely check: whether the slab is level at the seams, whether the overhang flexes under hand pressure, and whether the caulk line at the backsplash has pulled away. Take a photo of the label on the underside of the slab by the sink cutout if you can reach it, the fabrication stamp will tell us the color code and batch date. That helps us quote faster.

FAQs

Most full Caesarstone kitchen remodels in Dallas take three to five weeks from demo to final walkthrough. Countertop templating happens after cabinets are set, and slab fabrication usually adds a week in the middle.
A hairline crack at a stress point can sometimes be stabilized, but the repair is visible from close up and will not hold at a high-use seam like a sink edge. For anything structural, replacement of the affected run is the honest fix. Call (432) 302-8761 and we will tell you which one you are looking at.
We do not warehouse slabs, but we pull from Caesarstone fabricators in the Dallas area with same-week availability on most colors. That keeps your lead time short without us passing storage costs onto the quote.
No. The written price is the price. If we find hidden damage behind a cabinet during demo, we stop, show you what we found, and give you a written change order before any additional work moves forward. You approve it in writing or we do not do it.
