Toto Kitchen Remodeling: The Dallas Owner’s Guide

If you’re remodeling a Dallas kitchen around Toto fixtures and want them installed correctly the first time, the installed price typically lands between $14,000 and $45,000 depending on scope, and Mason Remodeling Co Dallas stocks and installs Toto-compatible products alongside the work. Most Dallas homeowners call us after a Toto part has failed quietly for months, often a faucet cartridge that began dripping, a pull-down spray head that lost pressure, or a kitchen sink flange that has started seeping at the seal. You should know who is coming, what it costs, and what happens if something goes wrong before we ever pick up a tool.

Call (432) 302-8761

We’re an independent Dallas contractor, which means we are not affiliated with Toto, but we install and service their kitchen fixtures every week and know exactly how their parts fit, where they fail, and what replacement work is worth doing while the wall is already open.

How Much Does Toto Kitchen Remodeling Cost in Dallas?

A stone counter, tile backsplash and open shelf after a kitchen remodel

A full Toto kitchen remodel in Dallas runs $14,000 to $45,000 installed. That range includes cabinetry, counters, sink, faucet, and all plumbing connections. If you are only replacing Toto-specific components, the price drops considerably: a Toto kitchen faucet replacement usually falls between $200 and $600 with labor, and a Toto sink install runs $450 to $1,200 depending on whether the counter needs modification.

  • Full kitchen remodel with Toto fixtures: $14,000 – $45,000
  • Toto faucet replacement: $200 – $600 installed
  • Toto kitchen sink replacement: $450 – $1,200 installed
  • Cabinet installation: $4,000 – $13,000
  • Countertop installation: $2,000 – $6,500
  • Backsplash installation: $800 – $2,500
  • Kitchen island installation: $3,000 – $10,000

Every price we give in Dallas is written before work starts, never verbal and never “subject to change.” That is our standard, not a promotion.

Which Toto Models This Applies To

Most Dallas kitchens we work in have Toto fixtures from one of three families: the Toto Clayton line, the Toto Nexus, or the Toto Maris. The Clayton is the most common kitchen faucet we replace here, and its ceramic disc cartridge is the same across all Clayton finishes. The Nexus line uses a taller gooseneck profile, so replacement parts for the pull-down hose and spray head differ from the Clayton even though the handles look similar at a glance.

The compatibility gotcha we see most often in Dallas homes: the Toto part number on the faucet’s base label matters more than the model name the homeowner remembers. Look under the sink behind the escutcheon plate or on the side of the faucet body for a white label with a T-number, like T040 or T042. If that label is gone, measure the faucet’s mounting holes: Toto Clayton uses a 1.375-inch mounting hole, while the Nexus needs 1.5 inches. Getting this wrong means the replacement base won’t seat and you’ll be chasing a leak at the counter.

For OEM parts versus aftermarket: Toto’s ceramic disc cartridges are worth buying OEM. They’re reasonably priced, they seat perfectly, and we have not found an aftermarket equivalent that lasts as long in Dallas’ hard water. Pull-down hoses and spray heads, however, have quality aftermarket options that cost half as much and perform identically, and we install both depending on what the homeowner wants to spend.

Signs Your Toto Kitchen Fixture Is Failing

  • Drip from the spout that won’t stop. This is almost always the ceramic disc cartridge wearing out. Dallas water has high mineral content, and calcium build-up accelerates cartridge wear. A steady drip means the cartridge has lost its seal, not that you need a new faucet.
  • Pull-down hose won’t retract. The weight under the sink has slipped or the hose has kinked inside the cabinet. It’s a 20-minute fix, but if the hose itself has worn through at the kink point, you’ll need a replacement hose and possibly a new spray head.
  • Reduced water pressure at the spray head. Mineral deposits clog the aerator or the diverter inside the spray head. Toto spray heads can be soaked in a descaling solution, but if the diverter is shot, replacing the head is more reliable than rebuilding it.
  • Water pooling at the base of the faucet. The O-ring under the base plate has dried and cracked. Dallas’ dry summers and temperature swings shorten the life of rubber seals. This is a simple O-ring replacement when caught early, and a countertop repair when ignored for months.
  • Sink flange or mounting clips showing rust. If the sink itself is moving or the flange is corroded, the seal under the counter has failed. Water is getting somewhere it shouldn’t be, which is how cabinet bases rot out in older Dallas kitchens.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

When we replace a Toto faucet in a Dallas home, the written price includes removal of the old unit, the new OEM or agreed-aftermarket part, the labor, any new supply lines, and a full test for leaks at the connections and at the base. When we replace a Toto sink, the job includes removing the old sink, inspecting the countertop cutout, setting the new sink in sealant, mounting hardware, and reconnecting the plumbing. We do not bury “miscellaneous hardware” charges in the final bill.

The single biggest driver of cost in a Toto fixture replacement is what we find when we pull the old one. If the water damage has reached the cabinet base, the scope changes and so does the number. We tell you before we do the extra work, not after the invoice prints. Every job carries our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if the work is not right within a year of completion, we make it right at no cost to you.

DIY or Call a Dallas Plumber?

An open kitchen and dining area after a remodel

Replacing a Toto faucet cartridge is a safe, simple job if you know which cartridge your model takes and you shut the water off first. If you want to pull the old cartridge and bring it to a plumbing supply house to match it, that’s a reasonable Saturday project. What we would not recommend doing yourself: replacing a Toto sink, touching supply lines that are older than about 15 years, or attempting any work under a sink where the cabinet base shows water damage. That last one means the floor or the cabinet needs to come out, and that is a remodel job, not a parts swap.

If you’re unsure what’s failing or whether your Toto part is still under warranty, call us at (432) 302-8761. We’ll help you identify the part, tell you what it costs, and give you a written price before we ever send a crew. You’ll know exactly who is coming: every Mason Remodeling technician arrives in a clean uniform with a photo ID badge, and you get their name and photo before we show up.

Will the Price Change Once Work Starts?

No. The written price we give you before work begins is the price you pay, unless we uncover something during the job that genuinely changes the scope, like a rotted cabinet base or a cracked countertop from the failed sink. If that happens, we stop and show you what we found, tell you what the different options cost, and you decide before we proceed. We have never been in the business of surprise invoices, and we are not starting now.

Who Is Doing the Work in My Dallas Home?

Every Mason Remodeling Co Dallas crew member passes the Threshold Standard before setting foot in your home: background-checked, identity-verified, uniformed, and introduced to you by name and photo before the visit. When they arrive, they’ll show a photo ID at the door. It’s a simple system, but it’s why homeowners who are often home alone, or who are cautious about opening the door to strangers, tend to call us first. Isaac Pruett started this company in 2004 after years of running jobs in Southern California, and he still walks every Dallas job himself before the first tool comes off the truck.

FAQs

How long do Toto kitchen faucets last in Dallas? The faucet body itself will last 15 to 20 years or more, but the cartridges, O-rings, and pull-down hoses typically need replacing every 5 to 8 years in Dallas because our water’s mineral content stresses internal seals and moving parts faster than softer-water regions.

Can my Toto faucet be repaired instead of replaced? Yes, in most cases. A Toto faucet with a dripping spout or reduced spray pressure is almost always fixable with a new cartridge, spray head, or O-ring. The exceptions are when the faucet body itself is cracked, usually from freezing or physical impact, or when corrosion has eaten through the base threads.

How long does a Toto fixture replacement take? A faucet swap is typically 60 to 90 minutes from shutting off the water to testing for leaks. A sink replacement is a 2 to 3 hour job if the counter is in good shape. If we’re replacing the sink and doing countertop or cabinet work at the same time, that’s part of the larger kitchen remodel schedule.

Do you stock Toto parts on the truck? Our techs keep common Toto cartridges, O-rings, aerators, and pull-down hoses on the truck, and we carry OEM parts for the Clayton and Nexus lines. For large replacement items like sinks or full faucet sets, we order after you approve the written price, and typical lead time in Dallas is 3 to 5 business days.

Is Mason Remodeling Co Dallas a Toto dealer? No. We are an independent Dallas contractor, not a Toto dealer or authorized repair shop. We install Toto products, we stock compatible parts, and we service them because they are common in Dallas kitchens we remodel, but we are not affiliated with Toto.

What other brands do you work with? Alongside Toto, we install and service KraftMaid cabinetry, Cambria and Silestone surfaces, Kohler and Grohe fixtures, and other specification-grade brands. Our partnerships with these manufacturers give Dallas homeowners access to professional-grade products without having to source them yourself.
