Tremron Kitchen Remodeling: The Dallas Owner’s Guide
If you have a Tremron kitchen product that’s failed or is starting to show real wear, we can match the part, price it honestly, and install it correctly. A full Tremron kitchen remodel in Dallas typically runs $14,000 to $45,000, while smaller part-specific fixes like a countertop swap or cabinet repair run lower, between $2,000 and $13,000 depending on what failed and how much surrounding work it pulls in. Most owners discover the problem the hard way: a drawer face that’s delaminating, a countertop seam that’s opened up, or hardware that’s stripped and won’t hold a hinge anymore.
We’re an independent Dallas remodeling contractor, not affiliated with Tremron, but we work with their cabinetry and surface lines regularly and know which parts interchange and which don’t.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Tremron is better known in Texas for pavers and hardscape blocks, but when Tremron products show up inside a Dallas kitchen, it’s usually in one of two places: countertop edges and cabinet-adjacent trim that used Tremron’s concrete-based material as a decorative or structural element. The compatibility issue that trips up most owners is this: Tremron’s concrete material is cast, not machined, which means replacement pieces are matched by batch color and edge profile, not just by a part number. A piece cast in 2019 won’t match a piece cast in 2023, even if both are labeled the same color.
To identify what you have, look for a cast stamp on the underside or back edge. Measure the thickness, the edge radius, and note whether the surface is sealed or raw. If you’re replacing a full countertop or a run of trim rather than a single piece, OEM Tremron material works fine. But if you’re trying to patch or match a single section, a quality aftermarket concrete composite from a Dallas fabricator will often blend better than a new OEM piece, because the fabricator can tint to your existing patina rather than to a factory standard that no longer matches what’s in your kitchen.
We also stock and install parts for KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone kitchens, so if your remodel mixes Tremron with other brands, we can handle the whole job without bouncing you between vendors.

Signs Your Tremron Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Seam separation on countertop runs. Dallas clay soil shifts, and houses move with it. When the substrate under a Tremron concrete countertop flexes even an eighth of an inch, the seam opens and you’ll feel a lip where two slabs meet. That’s not a cosmetic issue; it means the support underneath is moving and the seam caulk will fail again until the substrate is corrected.
- Efflorescence or white hazing on the surface. Tremron’s concrete material is porous unless sealed correctly. Hard Dallas water and humidity cycles pull minerals up through the slab, leaving a chalky white film that won’t wipe off. It’s a sign the sealer has broken down and moisture is moving through the material.
- Chipped or rounded edges around the sink cutout. The thinnest point on any concrete or cast countertop is the front rail of the sink cutout. Repeated heat from dishwashing, standing water, and dropped pots stress that edge first. Once the aggregate starts showing, water intrusion accelerates the damage.
- Drawer faces or door panels that won’t stay aligned. If your Tremron-style cast trim or adjacent cabinetry has shifted, the reveals get uneven. In Dallas, seasonal humidity swings between spring and August can move wood cabinetry enough that factory-set hinges need re-shimming.
- Hardware that spins or won’t tighten. Stripped screw holes in cabinet faces or cast trim are the most common call we get. The fix is usually a threaded insert or epoxy fill, but if the material around the hole is cracked, the whole face needs replacement.

DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check a few things yourself: whether the seam is growing, whether the seal is still beading water, and whether the hardware screws have simply backed out. Tightening a loose hinge screw is fine. Re-caulking a seam is fine if the substrate isn’t moving.
What you shouldn’t do is attempt to grind, re-cast, or structurally repair a concrete-based Tremron piece yourself. Concrete dust is a lung hazard, and cutting into a cast piece without knowing what’s underneath it, wiring, plumbing, structural supports, will turn a $400 patch into a $4,000 repair. If the material is cracked through, or the seam keeps opening after a caulk fix, the substrate or the piece itself has failed. Call us at (432) 302-8761 and we’ll send a tech who can look at it the right way.
FAQs

A properly sealed Tremron concrete countertop in Dallas should last 15 to 25 years before the material itself degrades, but the sealant needs reapplication every 1 to 3 years depending on sun exposure and water contact. If the piece is cracking or the aggregate is showing, the structural life is over regardless of age. Call (432) 302-8761 for an exact assessment.
Hairline surface cracks can often be filled and re-sealed if the underlying support is stable. Through-cracks, cracks around the sink cutout, or cracks wider than a dime’s thickness usually mean structural failure and full replacement is the honest recommendation. We’ll tell you which one you have when we see it.
Most single-part replacements, countertop seams, cabinet faces, hardware repairs, are done in one visit of 2 to 4 hours. Full countertop or cabinet replacements run 1 to 3 days depending on fabrication lead time. We’ll give you a written schedule with the quote.
We stock common hardware, edge treatments, and color-match materials on the truck. For OEM Tremron cast pieces, we order to spec after measuring your existing piece. For aftermarket concrete composite replacements, our Dallas fabricators can usually match and produce within 5 to 7 business days. Call (432) 302-8761 and we’ll tell you what’s in stock before we schedule the visit.
