Tremron Fence Installation: The Dallas Owner’s Guide

Tremron fence installation in Dallas typically runs $3,500 to $9,000 for a complete perimeter project, depending on linear footage, terrain, and whether you’re working with Tremron wall block, fence panels, or a mix of columns and infill. Most Dallas homeowners discover they have a problem after heavy spring rains expose a shifting base course, or after one winter freeze-thaw cycle pops a cap block off a column. We stock Tremron-compatible materials and install them with a written price before any work starts.

What usually brings someone to this page is a fence that’s leaning at the gate posts, cracked blocks near the bottom course, or a section that shifted after the clay soil under it did what Dallas clay soil does. You’re not looking for a brochure. You’re looking for the part numbers, the labor reality, and a straight answer on whether the whole run needs to come out or whether it’s a section repair.

Which Tremron Models This Applies To

Most Tremron fence work we do in Dallas falls into two product families: the Tremron Estate Wall block (commonly used for column-and-panel privacy fences) and the Tremron Sierra or Highland series interlocking blocks that stack into a solid wall. The compatibility gotcha is the core: Tremron blocks are manufactured with specific lip-and-channel profiles, and they do not interlock with Belgard or Pavestone blocks. If someone built your fence with mixed brands, that’s why you’re seeing gaps or a course that won’t seat. We see it regularly in older East Dallas and Garland neighborhoods where a previous owner patched with whatever the local yard had in stock.

To identify your block, look at the underside of a cap or the back face of any loose block. Tremron stamps a mold number and date code there. If the stamp is gone, measure the block height: Estate Wall blocks typically run 4″ or 6″ tall, while the panel units for fence infill are usually 8″ concrete panels. As for OEM versus aftermarket: Tremron’s own block is the only thing we recommend for structural columns. Aftermarket equivalents exist, but the dimensional tolerance is looser, and a column that’s off by a quarter-inch at course three is off by two inches at course twenty. When we price a job, we use Tremron block unless you tell us otherwise.

Mason Remodeling Co Dallas is an independent contractor, not a Tremron dealer or affiliate. We also handle parts and materials for KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone on the remodel side.

Signs Your Tremron Fence Installation Is Failing

  • Leaning gate posts or end columns. This almost always traces back to footing depth. Tremron columns need a concrete footing below the frost line and below the active clay zone. In Dallas, that’s 18 to 24 inches minimum. A post set at 12 inches will lean within two or three seasons.
  • Cracked blocks near the bottom course. Water wicks up through the base and pools inside the block cores. When it freezes, the block face spalls or splits. Dallas gets just enough freeze-thaw cycles in January and February for this to show on north-facing fence sections first.
  • Gaps opening between courses. The interlocking lip has sheared off, or the base course was set without leveling. Once one block loses its seat, the weight above it starts working against the wall.
  • Cap blocks loose or missing after wind. Tremron caps are glued with construction adhesive unless mechanically fastened. Over time, adhesive fails, and a March windstorm in Dallas will peel them right off. Loose caps are the early warning for water getting into the cores below.
  • Fence panels rattling or bowing in the frame. Panel slots on Tremron posts can widen as the concrete post shifts, or the panel itself has cracked from pressure. Either way, the panel is no longer bearing evenly, and the next heavy rain will make it worse.

Replacement Cost & What’s Included

A remodeled laundry and mudroom with a bench, cubbies and painted cabinets

For Dallas, a full Tremron fence install lands between $3,500 and $9,000 installed. The range comes down to three things: linear footage, whether we’re reusing your existing concrete footing, and whether the run is straight or follows grade. A straight 60-foot run with two columns and panel infill sits at the lower end. A contoured lot with a gate, six columns, and poured footings pushes toward the top.

Our written price includes the Tremron block, mortar or adhesive, cap stone, the base course prep, and labor. It also includes disposal of the failed section. What it does not include is change orders hidden in the contract. The price we hand you before work starts is the price on the final invoice. Every Tremron fence job carries Mason Remodeling’s 365-Day Done Right Promise: if anything is not right within a year of completion, we make it right at no cost. You’ll also get a written guarantee stating exactly what’s covered and for how long.

Scope Dallas Installed Price Range
Single column rebuild (cap-to-footing) $900 – $2,200
Section repair (up to 10 linear feet) $1,200 – $2,800
Full Tremron fence (60 – 150 linear feet) $3,500 – $9,000
Gate + two matching columns $2,000 – $4,800

DIY or Call Us?

There are two things you can safely check yourself. First, look at the base course: if the bottom blocks have sunk or shifted, you’ve got a footing problem, not a block problem. Second, check your caps: if they move when you press on them, they’re letting water in. Both are useful to know before you call.

What we’d stop you from doing is pulling a block out of the middle of a column. Once the vertical weight stops bearing evenly, the column can shift and pinch your hand or drop blocks on the gate. Concrete block doesn’t have a spring to warn you, it just lets go. The same goes for trying to reset a leaning post with shims: it looks fine for a month and fails the first time someone swings the gate hard. If you want to know whether it’s a repair or a rebuild, call us at (432) 302-8761. We’ll send someone who can tell you by looking, not by guessing.
